Don't let the exterior fool you, they have great food. Their pizza is fantastic if you like a thinner crust. They really know how to blend cheeses for both their pizza and grilled cheese both of which I highly recommend. I've been there often and their service is always fantastic except once on a Sunday. Their tap list is also great with something new all the time. if you're not into the metal scene I wouldn't recommend coming here after 9 on a Friday or Saturday, but prior to that is say it's a good vibe for just about anyone who likes a good bar. Overall highly recommend and will continue to come here often.

Generally a decent bar and better selection on beer than many places in Lowell. Service is pretty good, though it can get a little hectic when it's busy.  That being said they have a good selection and the food is also really good.

Came here for dinner on a Monday night due to being in the area and for the cash back deal. Had the feel of a dive bar with many regulars streaming in and out. Smoking is permitting inside the restaurant and outside on the patio, which I personally wasn't a fan of. We ordered inside at the bar as they were short on servers and grabbed a seat outside at a table.

We ordered a grilled cheese with fries and a dish of Mac and cheese. It wasn't very busy, but it took over a half hour to get our food. My only thought of how it could have taken so long is that they don't serve food enough to have it ready to serve, and have to first boil the water to get it started! I guess there are pros and cons to that, but we weren't thrilled with the wait and nearly left.

Our meal did make up for a lot of that frustration however. My grilled cheese with bacon, avocado, tomato and Munster cheese was great. The thick bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese was also super gooey and the veggies fresh with a good amount of bacon and avocado to boot. For $8, I felt it was very worth the price. It looked so good when I got it that I only remembered to take a picture after I had eaten the first half!

The Mac and cheese ($8) was a great portion size and flavorful. It had bacon and scallions in it which added some nice texture.

Overall, the food was excellent. If you can get past the restaurant decor and dive bar style itself, you'll have a good meal at a great price. 3 stars.

Caught in a catch 22 here, while I want to give the place the kudos it deserves, I like that its not too crowded when I go!
This is our new local favorite place. The draft beer selection is the best I have seen anywhere! Not only that, it is constantly changing, I get to try new IPA's every time I go there!
Now onto the food, we haven't had a bad meal there yet. Their burgers are cooked to perfection, medium rare with a charcoal crust every time! The pizza is great, we usually order one each and have leftovers. The music is always eclectic, and not too loud that you can't have a conversation. The patio is usually filled with smokers, I don't smoke and I would like to sit out there, but I just couldn't. I never saw anyone smoke inside. Oh and the waitress is the bomb! She remembers every little detail about us, (hubby hates pickles) no wonder we keep coming back!

We walked from the National Park visitor center and glad we did. Nothing to look at outside but we had a yummy lunch inside. It was nice and cool inside after being out in the very warm and humid day. Our waitress/ bartender was friendly and efficient. I had the steak wrap with fresh veggies , outstanding ! Hubby had the grilled cheese with shaved steak and egg , he was thrilled. Paired with a small fresh salad , we were happy . We don't live in the area but when we return we will definitely come back for another delicious meal !!
